World Peace Rose Garden. "International World Peace Rose
Gardens (IWPRG) is a catalyst in diverse communities around the
world for peace. The non-profit organization was incorporated in
1988 for the purpose of creating beautiful rose gardens for peace on
public, accessible sites. The gardens serve as places of inspiration
and magnets for community activities, including the IWPRG youth
programs. The projects have impacted millions around the world."
- Georgia State
Capitol. "Georgia State Capitol Tours begin at the Capitol
tour desk (located near the Washington Street entrance) and consist
of a brief overview of Capitol history and the lawmaking process; a
visit to the public galleries of the House of Representatives and
Senate; and conclude with a visit to the
Georgia Capitol
Museum. Visitors are also encouraged to visit the "Hall of
Valor," which houses Georgia’s priceless collection of historic
flags. Tours are approximately 45 minutes in duration and group
sizes are limited to 50. You are welcome to schedule a tour by

- Martin Luther King, Jr.
National Historic Site. "The Martin Luther King, Jr.,
National Historic Site includes a number of facilities that are
operated in partnership with the National Park Service, Ebenezer
Baptist Church and The King Center. Within these facilities the
visitor can learn about Dr. King's life and and his influence on
others. The Peace Plaza is the area between the National Park
Service Visitor Center and Auburn Avenue. The focal points of the
beautifully landscaped plaza area are the
International World
Peace Rose Garden, which includes
inspirational messages of peace composed by students from local
Atlanta schools, and a flowing water fountain. Also located in the
plaza is the
"BEHOLD" statue."
