90.1 WABE

Great cities are known by their museums, theaters, symphonies and parks. But the greatest impact on a city’s cultural life radiates invisibly through the air.

For Atlanta, that cultural force is Public Broadcasting Atlanta. WABE 90.1 FM and PBA 30 bring NPR News, music, the arts and PBS programming to millions of listeners and viewers each year.

Today, people turn to public broadcasting for their news, music, arts and entertainment. Yet, few people realize that public broadcasting began as “educational television” — strictly a learning resource. As a non-profit service of the Atlanta Educational Telecommunications Collective (AETC) licensed to Atlanta Public Schools, Public Broadcasting Atlanta (PBA) has never lost sight of its original mission. Education remains at the core of our operation at every level, from preschoolers to our elders.

91.5 WWEV "Ministering to the needs of today's family is the purpose behind the broadcast ministry of WWEV. The Christian family faces most of the same problems as any other family in America. The difference is not in the problems but rather in the solutions.

WWEV is a Biblically based radio ministry that believes the answers for today's problems are found in the Word and in the person Jesus Christ.

The music aired on this station is selected for its message content first. If the message in the song is grey and unclear we simply refuse to waste God's valuable air time playing it.
